The ceremony was celebrated as Nikkah which is considered sacred in Islamic culture, as it formalises the union between a man and woman under Sharia Law.
In an all-white ceremony, the Head of the Republic also adhered to the dress code alongside ODM party leader Oburu Odinga, who was also in attendance.
