The police have arrested two individuals connected to a brutal murder in Chembani, Mtopanga, Mombasa County.
According to the police, Julius Otieno Mageta, aka Junior, and his accomplice, Mohammed Omar Hamisi, aka Babu are suspected to have killed one Stephen Opello on November 22, 2025.
“The duo viciously assaulted Opello, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to Coast General Hospital by good samaritans, clinging to life, but the injuries proved fatal,” DCI stated.
The police added that they arrested the duo after a tip off.
The suspects are currently in custody awaiting arraignment.
