Peter Wanyama Officially Enters Race for LSK President

Lawyer Peter Wanyama has oficially submitted his nomination papers to vie for the presidency of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK),.

The Society’s election is scheduled for early 2026.

This comes after LSK announced that several key positions will fall vacant in March 2026, including those of president, vice-president, and three representatives of the general membership.

In a formal notice to members, the Society’s secretary stated that the impending vacancies are in line with the Law Society of Kenya Act, 2014, and the Law Society of Kenya (General) Regulations, 2020, which govern the election.

This becomes Peter Wanyama’s second attempt at clinching the LSK’s top seat, having unsuccessfully contested for the presidency in the last election.
