The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has promised to prosecute those involved in online sexual harassment on digital platforms.
The ODPP said this in a statement on 26th November 2025.
In the statement, it said that online sexual harassment is not only harmful but also constitutes a form of abuse.
“Online sexual harassment is not only harmful, but is also a form of abuse. The ODPP ensures perpetrators of online sexual harassment face legal consequences”, the statement read.
This comes at a time when the country has marked the 16 Days of Activism for the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) campaign.
