A Nigerian woman working as a TikTok content moderator in Kenya has been found dead under unclear circumstances.
Ladi Anzaki Olubunmi, who had been employed by Teleperformance was discovered dead on Friday, March 7, in Nairobi.
It was reported that her body was discovered after she failed to show up at her workplace, Teleperformance, for three days.

According to some of her colleagues, Ladi had repeatedly requested leave but was denied.
Reports moreover indicate that the content moderator had not been able to go back to Nigeria after she landed the job in Kenya.
Her family, who had not seen her since she moved to Kenya in 2022, is now seeking answers. Ladi was found dead outside her apartment in Nairobi.
This has raised questions about the work culture at the company that was outsourced to moderate TikTok content.
