King Wilem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of Netherlands have scheduled to make a three-day State visit.
The visit will take place from March 18th to March 20th, 2025.
The visit will be a first State visit to Kenya with invitation from President William Ruto to discuss on strong and long-standing relationship.

According to Dutch royal palace, the priority will be to foster new partnerships and deepen existing collaboration in areas such as sustainable agriculture, water managements and climate.
Trade and investment are also expected to be discussed during the visit with economic missions focusing on Agriculture and water.
The royal visit will be expected to strengthen ties between the two countries and Kenya’s role as a strategic partner for Netherlands in addressing global challenges.
Apart from that, the two countries have worked together within the UN and other international organizations with acting goals related to democracy, the rule of law and independence of the judiciary.
Netherlands and Kenya have also worked together on challenges relating to peace and security, climate change and food security.
