A police officer based at Naroosura Police Station in Narok is under investigation for allegedly assaulting a woman in public during an incident linked to a case she had gone to report at the station.
The woman claimed the officer struck her on her rear parts after she visited the station to seek assistance regarding a motorcycle she had jointly purchased with her husband.
According to reports, the woman had jointly purchased the motorcycle with her husband, who later betrayed her by engaging in an affair and using the motorcycle’s proceeds to support his new relationship.

This left her despondent and without a source of income, prompting her to seek police intervention in addressing the situation.
After arriving at the station, she realised the officer may have colluded with the husband and the side chick to have her assaulted.
The officer allegedly turned on her, assaulting her in public and leaving her humiliated and nursing visible injuries.
It took the intervention of neighbours to save her life.
She was then rushed to the Naroosura Health Centre by her children and was discharged on Monday.
According to the medical report, she suffered soft tissue injuries and “grievous harm” and was discharged after being given treatment.
