Musician Kizo B released From Jail

Coast-based musician Kizo B was released from Shimo La Tewa prison after spending almost three weeks in detention.

The Mombasa-based singer was accused of threatening an individual with a machete in a land dispute; he denied the allegations.

Following the arrest, Kizo took to his social media to plead for help from his fans, which attracted media personality Willy M Tuva.

Tuva had earlier updated his fans on his involvement in securing Kizo B’s freedom.

After his release, Kizo B thanked Willy M Tuva alongside Collins Muraya for their intervention toward his release.

“Freedom at last! The storm is over, and a new chapter begins. I give all glory to God for seeing me through. Thank you to Mzazi Willy Tuva and Collins Muraya- your unwavering support, guidance, and belief in me made this possible. I can’t thank you enough for standing by my side,” the singer stated.

The musician appreciated his girlfriend who supported him throughout his arrest.

He also stated that he was ready to move on and start fresh beginnings now that the case had been closed.
