Musician Jovial has recently made a fascinating comment about her thoughts on the music industry and collaborative experiences that she has had.
During an interview on Radio Maisha, Jovial disclosed that she is currently not open to collaborating with other artists.
She went on to express her regret over her previous collaborations and noting that she needs some time before considering any new ones.

“Kwa kipindi cha sasa sitaki kufanya collabos…sifanyi,,,Kama kuna wakati nimejuta sana ni kufanya collabos.”
According to her, the love and support she receives as a solo artist have inspired her to continue creating music without involving other artists.
“Kama kuna kipindi nimeanza kupata mafanikio ni wakati nimeanza kutoa ngoma zangu pekee yangu. Wasanii ni wajambazi sana wasanii wana ujambazi mwingi. You know what i don’t care, nimefika point katika maisha yangu na career yangu katika maisha yangu staki kujua una mawazo gani kunihusu. Hakuna kitu kigumu kuplease binadamu hadi unashau kuishi.”
The artist also said that she felt contented with the current progress of her career and is eagerly anticipating the release of her upcoming EP.
Advising the aspiring musicians to focus on developing their skills and creative energy before getting involved in any music business ventures.
“Kama we ni mtu unaanza mziki usikue na hraka ya kutoka fanya kazi kwa utaratibu Mungu anakuepisha vitu vingine take your time build yourself up get the right energy get the right artiste u need to work with kwa sababu hapa nje kila mtu ako na lengo lake.”
