Geoffrey Mosiria has called for investigations into allegations of deliberate HIV exposure.
The City County Chief has urged authorities to establish the facts and take appropriate legal action if wrongdoing is proven.
In a statement on Monday, October 19, 2026, Mosiria said allegations raised by a woman in a circulating video should be taken seriously and thoroughly investigated.
“This impunity and the killing of innocent men and women must be stopped!” he declared.
The County Boss stressed that any action should be guided by evidence and the law, rather than assumptions or unverified claims circulating on social media.
He questioned whether scientific evidence supported the claim, insisting that medical concerns should be addressed through proper testing and professional guidance.
“Medical facts must be established through proper scientific testing, not rumours or social media claims,” Mosiria added.
Mosiria further encouraged anyone concerned about their HIV status to seek advice from qualified healthcare professionals and use accredited testing facilities instead of attempting unverified experiments.
Additionally, also addressed sexual behaviour, encouraging men and women to make informed decisions without pressure from others.
Furthermore, he encouraged sexually active people to practise safe sex, use protection and undergo regular HIV testing.
