Economic advisor Moses Kuria has condemned the chaos witnessed at a church attended by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Kuria, known for his outspoken remarks, criticized the politicization of religious spaces.
“This is utterly ungodly. Leave your backward and primitive political wars out of places of worship. Today was AIPCA Kenol re-loaded. The lightning that will strike us is still loading. Pole sana Rigathi Gachagua,” he said.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka also commented on the matter, calling the incident a national shame.
“The attack on second deputy president Rigathi Gachagua at Kasarani PCEA Church, Mwiki was a national shame. We call out these State-sponsored militia as workers of inequity and servants of the devil. Why would you commit violence in Church? Please Mr Ruto, stop it! Mr Ruto, why would you pay your citizens to attend your meetings? Something is very wrong. Your fundamentals are compromised. You can’t bribe people all the time nor carry on lying to Kenyans all the time,” he stated.
On Sunday, the former DP was attending a church service at PCEA Mwiki in Kasarani when suspected goons raided the place of worship.
Breaking his silence after the incident, Gachagua condemned the incident which he described as a targeted attempt to intimidate him.
According to Gachagua, the disruption was politically motivated and linked the events directly to President William Ruto.
The former DP further alleged that Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja played a role in the incident, adding that the police were instructed to stand down during the incident.
