An unusual traffic snarl-up was reported along Thika Road on the morning of Tuesday, October 7, after a personal vehicle overturned near the Roasters area.
The section, which has become increasingly prone to such incidents, was partially blocked after the car landed in the middle of the highway.
Images shared online show the overturned vehicle obstructing traffic, forcing motorists to slow down as police officers were deployed to manage the situation.

Traffic police redirected vehicles through alternative exits, though one of the routes experienced significant congestion as a result.
While the exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined, preliminary reports indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle, which veered off its lane and overturned on the main highway below.
No fatalities had been reported at the time of publishing.
The Roasters area has increasingly become a hotspot for such incidents, with this latest case occurring just weeks after a lorry transporting murram overturned near the GSU Headquarters.
