Moi University, Eldoret, is set to auction cows, donkeys and dogs.
The public is invited to view them from Friday, June 19, to Monday next week before the public auction, which is set for June 24, 2025.
In a notice, Moi University stated that the animals and vehicles will be auctioned at the farm yard, main campus in Kesses, Uasin Gishu County.
Bulls and bull calves will range from Ksh. 50,000 to Ksh. 70,000 each, as the German Shepherd breed of dogs will go for Ksh. 40,000 each.
Donkeys are sold between Ksh. 9,00 each and Ksh. 15,000 each, and a pig goes for Ksh. 3,500 to Ksh. 7,000 each.
The university will also auction a Toyota Hilux vehicle at Ksh. 350,000.
