Moi University lecturers have called off their industrial action after reaching an agreement with the university council.
According to the Universities Academic Staff Union (UASU) branch Secretary General Dr. Busolo Wekesa, both parties negotiated on several issues that they had raised and agreed to resolve them on an issue-by-issue basis.
The SG noted that the council agreed to withdraw the redundancy letters that had been issued to the members of the staff.
