The body of a woman who had been reported missing was found under a bed in Kariba estate, South B, Nairobi.
The victim was identified as Ann Wangare had been missing from her Embakasi home since December 18, 2025.
According to police reports, the deceased was traced to a house belonging to her former husband on December 21, 2025.
Police broke into the house after neighbours said they were disturbed by a smell that came from there.
Reports indicate that the body was found under a bed with a huge stone placed on her head and lying in a pool of blood.
Further police reports indicate that the said former husband was missing whereas the motive of the murder was not known.
The body was moved into the morgue awaiting autopsy.
