Francis Munyao, also known as MCA Tricky, has officially left Milele FM, marking six years of service to an end after a fall out with management.
In a statement released on July 22, 2026, MCA Tricky revealed that the exit stemmed from his request for a short, unpaid leave to pursue his academic goals, a request the station could not agree to.
“Today, I officially close one of the most important chapters of my life. After six unforgettable years, I have officially left Mediamax Network Ld’s Miele FM, where I proudly served from June 2020 to June 2026,” MCA Triky stated.

Apart from studies, he explained that the two parties simply failed to reach a mutual agreement over his study leave request, leading to their eventual parting of ways.
“My departure comes after we were unable to reach a mutual agreement regarding my request for a short unpaid study leave as I continue pursuing my academic goals,” MCA Tricky added.
Additionally, he thanked Mediamax Network’s management for the opportunity to serve millions of Kenyans through Milele FM over the past six years despite failing to agree on the terms.
He also appreciated his team in general, including every producer, technician, and co-presenter he worked alongside, saying that together they created memories he will carry forever.
The presenter specifically thanked his listeners for welcoming him into their homes, cars, and workplaces throughout his six years on air, describing the loyalty and love from his audience as the greatest reward of his entire radio career at the station.
