The UEFA Champions League draw has finally been done. Manchester City will face defending champions Real Madrid in this season’s Champions League knockout play-offs.
Manchester City and Real Madrid will be facing each other in the Champions League for a FOURTH consecutive season.
The Pep Guardiola side sneaked themselves into the top 24 in the league phase on the final day with a 3-1 win over Club Brugge. However, their low ranking means an early winner-takes-all showdown with Carlo Ancelotti’s European giants.

The first leg will take place on either February 11 or 12 at Etihad, while the return match will either be on February 18th or 19th in Munich. The same dates will also apply to the other matches as well.

In the same week that these fixtures are concluded, there will be a draw for the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals on Friday 21 February.
