Mamelodi Sundowns thrashed Orlando Pirates 4-1 in the Betway Premiership encounter on Saturday.
Masandawana opened the scores in the 13th minute from a tap-in goal by Kekana following a well-taken Allende’s free-kick.
The Brazilian wonderkid stole the show in the 27th minute following a solo effort as he dribbled from his own half and slotted perfectly in the bottom corner to ensure Sundowns the second in the match.
Back from the break at the 57th minute, Pirate’s Hotto almost brought them back to life as he pulled one back from an outside the box shot.
This effort was immediately dimmed by Lucas again with another pin-point finish in the bottom corner to restore Sundown’s two-goal lead.
Mokoena capitalised on the plenty of space left to him by the Pirates defenders and made it 4-1 from a shot into the roof of the net.

“It was the same field Mamelodi Sundowns played in; they managed to win the game despite the circumstances that this game was played in. This was not an advantage to Sundowns as well, it’s a pity it was played here, it doesn’t help another, I’m not gonna say we lost because of the pitch,” Pirates coach Jose Riveiro
