Malava Member of Parliament, Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi, has passed away.
Injendi died while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi on Monday, February 17.
Confirming his death, the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula eulogized the late MP as a passionate leader.

“It is with profound sadness that I inform you of the demise of our esteemed colleague, Moses Malulu Injendi, who left us this evening, February 17, 2025, at 5.15 pm at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi. He was the Member of Malava Constituency and Vice Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Education and Research. His tireless efforts and contribution to our legislative processes, particularly the Education sector and sugar industry aimed at improving the lives of the Kenyan people, will be deeply missed.”
Injendi was serving his third term as MP and he was also the vice chairperson of the National Assembly Committee on Education and Research.
The late MP was known for his bold and outspoken nature, earning admiration for his willingness to speak out against issues he disagreed with.
The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed.
His death moreover comes just a day after Baringo Senator William Cheptumo passed away aged 57.
