A police constable in Laikipia County has been nabbed in connection with the possession of stolen uniforms, equipment and exhibits from fellow officers.
The suspect, identified as Mohamud Adow, was arrested following a search in his house.
Reports indicate that the items recovered include 3 Angola shirts, 5 China blue sweaters, 2 jungle green sweaters, 3 China blue shirts, 4 jungle hats, 6 navy blue shirts, 3 navy blue trousers and 4 jungle jackets.
Other items recovered were 2 jungle T-shirts, 2 jungle jackets, 3 China blue rain coats, I police flag, 3 jungle belts, 3 navy blue police belts. 3 blue lanyards.
All teh items have since been placed in the station’s QM store awaiting further service and disciplinary action.
