Former Senior Economic Adviser to the President, Moses Kuria has criticized Health CS Aden Duale for claiming that the citizenship of the Mediheal owner, Swarup Mishra, might be revoked for the alleged organ trafficking at his facility.
Taking to his socials on Monday, August 4, Kuria claimed that the Health CS, whom he didn’t directly mention, has no constitutional authority to issue such statements.
He further warned that such a statement risks eroding investors’ confidence, which will in turn cripple the country’s economy and deny youths jobs.

“Sometimes I wonder. When a Senior government official who is not in charge of immigration says we will cancel citizenship and deport so-and-so, do we ponder to think what investors will think of our country?” Kuria noted.
Speaking on August 1, CS Duale claimed that the independent committee dispatched to Mediheal to investigate the alleged organ trafficking had gathered evidence that showed the hospital was involved in unlawful activities.
The Health CS noted that the government will not hesitate to take decisive action against Mishra.
Duale moreover claimed that Mishra attempted to compromise the investigations through intimidation and bribery.
