The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced a four-day public physical auction scheduled to run from June 8 to June 11, 2026, across Nairobi and Mombasa.
In a notice issued on Friday, June 5, the tax authority invited members of the public to participate in the auction, which will be conducted at three major locations: the Inland Container Depot Nairobi (ICDN), Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), and the Container Freight Station (CFS) in Kilindini, Mombasa.
According to the schedule, the auction will begin at ICDN on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and continue at the same venue on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, also starting at 10:00 a.m.

The exercise will then move to JKIA on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, before concluding at CFS/Kilindini on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with all sessions set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
KRA has encouraged interested bidders to inspect goods at the designated auction sites before placing competitive bids.
Participants have also been given the option of taking part physically or submitting bids online through the authority’s official auction platform at ibid.kra.go.ke.
The authority noted that the auction presents an opportunity for members of the public to acquire various goods at competitive prices as part of its routine disposal of seized or unclaimed items.
“You can attend the auction at the designated venue or place your bids online through ibid.kra.go.ke. Visit the auction, place your bid, and you could walk away with a great deal,” the notice read.
