The Kenya National Examination Council is set to introduce a mid-year series of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
The new mid-series will be administered in July every year.
This will target candidates who wish to repeat their exam or those who missed it due to unavoidable circumstances.

Adults’ candidates may also consider registering for the July KCSE series examination.
The education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos stated on Thursday 9th January 2025
KNEC CEO David Nyengere also added by stating that any person wishing to repeat fully or partially should take advantage of the remaining chances to do so.
KCSE results 2024 impressed many with 1693 candidates scoring A, 246, 391 scoring C+ whereas 605, 774 scored D+ and above.
With the release of the results, David further stated that the last KCSE examination will be administered in 2027 while urging those wishing to repeat fully or partially to take advantage of the remaining chances.
