Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has responded to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s remarks, dismissing any form of political collaboration with Kenya Kwanza’s administration.
In a statement on X on June 15, DP Kindiki revealed that if Kalonzo continued with his falsehoods unprovoked, he would tackle him head-on.
“I hear my big brother Kalonzo has said he doesn’t wish to work with me politically. That is fine with me. But if he continues with his falsehoods unprovoked, I will happily tackle him head-on”, Kindiki wrote.
“For unkind things he said about me, I won’t answer him back publicly- not because I can’t, but because I never do public duels with people I respect. For now, Kalonzo will remain the good big brother I have known for decades”, he added.
This comes after Kalonzo accused Kindiki of being complicit in recent crackdowns, especially the fatal Gen Z protests.
He also ruled out working with President William Ruto’s administration maintaining his position and plans to run for president in 20,27.
The Wiper Party Leader further reaffirmed his commitment to working with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to form a united opposition to the current regime.
