Kenya Airways has temporarily suspended flights to Dubai and Sharjah.
According to reports, the move follows the closure of the UAE airspace after the escalating war between the United States, Israel and Iran.
Kenya Airways on Saturday, February 28, 2026, confirmed that the suspension affects passenger and freighter flights, including KQ310, KQ311, KQ304, and KQ305, until further notice.
“We wish to inform our customers that we have temporarily suspended flights to Dubai and Sharjah until further notice due to the UAE airspace closure,” the airline said.
Kenya Airways also advised passengers to stay updated on flight information through official channels.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding,” it added.
This follows strikes by the United States, Iran and Israel by retaliatory attacks from Tehran, which has sparked widespread violence in the region.
It has led to the closure of much of the Middle East’s airspace.
Reports indicate that at least eight countries have shut their airspace as the conflict escalated.
The affected states include Iran, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates.
