Renovations at Kasarani Stadium are ongoing, with contractors working tirelessly to prepare the facility for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Notable progress has been made, including the installation of a fully functional canopy.
Kenya secured the rights to co-host this continental tournament alongside neighbors Uganda and Tanzania, specifically for players participating in their national league competitions.
While Uganda and Tanzania already have CAF-approved stadiums, Kenya did not, leading the government to close Kasarani and Nyayo Stadiums for upgrades and to initiate the construction of a brand-new Talanta City.
The installation of the canopy at Kasarani Stadium, one of the final tasks to be completed, is now finished and in excellent condition.
