Philanthropist Karangu Muraya on Tuesday, April 14, announced the death of his brother, Paul Muraya.
Muraya was overcome with emotion as he mourned the loss, describing the passing as deeply heartbreaking.
He revealed that his brother developed health complications following a road accident in February 2025, which ultimately led to his death.

The businessman also noted that the deceased fought bravely for his life in his final days, despite efforts to ensure he received proper medical care after the accident.
Muraya expressed deep love for his brother, noting that coming to terms with his death has been extremely difficult.
Kenyans also sent messages of condolence, empathising with his loss and acknowledging the profound pain that comes with losing a loved one.
Earlier, Muraya had revealed that the accident left his brother admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), before he later improved and was moved to a general ward.
Despite the progress, he was unable to stand or walk properly and continued receiving treatment at Karira Mission Hospital in Mwea.
The family has yet to announce the burial arrangements for the late Paul Muraya.
