Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia has opened up about being bullied.
In an emotional video shared on her social media account Instagram on Monday, December 15, 2025, Jackie said she strongly condemns bullying, noting that the past week has been especially hard for her.
“One thing I hate, I hate bullies, the past one week, I have been fighting silent battles and am tired, I am so sorry because unasikia vibaya that am a single mother who is just trying, raising my children and living my life. Matubia also questioned where the hatred toward single mothers from fellow women was coming from, saying she did not understand it.
She added that the situation had escalated on TikTok, with people paying to get her shadow-banned and even mocking her about how she would sell Christmas trees.
