The acting inspector general Gilbert Masengeli has revealed the reasons behing recalling Justice Lawrence Mugambi’s security detail.
He said, according to him, the allegations were unintended.
He said that the two- security officers of Justice Lawrence Mugambi were recalled during that weekend for training purposes.
They were supposed to attend a VIP security course.
IG Masengeli then said that measures had been put in place to ensure that Justice Mugambi’s security were not compromised.
Masengeli then said that the security details had been looked upto after recalling of Justice Mugambi’s security officers to attend a training.
This was in response to Chief Justice Martha Koome.
