The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has launched an Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration drive targeting five specific areas across the country.
In a notice, the commission announced the month-long exercise runs from June 25, to July 25, giving eligible Kenyans a fresh window to get onto the voters’ roll.
The five areas expected to be covered are Mbeere North Constituency, Malava Constituency, Emurua Dikirr Constituency, Porro County Assembly Ward in Samburu West, and Endo County Assembly Ward in Marakwet East.
“IEBC gives notice that there will be Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) of voters from Thursday, 25th June, 2026 to Saturday, 25th July, 2026 in the following electoral areas: Mbeere North Constituency, Porro County Assembly Ward in Samburu West Constituency, Endo County Assembly Ward in Marakwet East Constituency, Emurua Dikirr Constituency and Malava Constituency,” stated the commission.
Registration will run every day of the week, Monday through Sunday, for the entire duration of the ECVR period, making it easier for working Kenyans to find a convenient time.
According to IEBC, services will be available at County Assembly Ward level offices, IEBC Constituency Offices, Huduma Centres, and institutions of higher learning within the specified electoral areas.
Additionally, the commission makes it clear that, Ol Kalou Constituency has been excluded from all registration and revision activities during this period, as a by-election is currently ongoing there.
