Kakamega Homeboyz made it a 5-star performance as they hurled 5 goals against Nairobi City Stars at Dandora Stadium in the FKF Kenya Premier League on a Friday afternoon.
Glen Masava opened the match in the 9th minute with a thunderbolt shot to give Abana Beingo the lead.
In the 13th minute, captain Moses Mudavadi doubled the lead with a clinical finish from Hillary Otieno’s low cut back pass.

To add on the rout and call the match done, Moses Mudavadi assisted Moses Shumah who netted to make it three to the visitors.
Back from the break, Homeboyz came back on the same rhythm with a display of calling in for more goals and four minutes after the second half whistle, Moses Shumah completed his brace making it four strokes on ‘Simba wa Nairobi’.
City Stars would then resolve to playing low and calm the match preventing more damage but they could not hold unto the full time whistle.
Substitute Henry Omollo was assisted by Shumah in the 88th minute to spice up his debut with a goal making it 5 goals for the visitors.
Moses Shumah adds his tally to 10 goals and he will rank second on the top scorers chart with 5 goals behind Tusker’s Ryan Ogam.
Kakamega Homeboyz ascends to the 7th position on the log with 30 points while Nairobi City Stars remain second from bottom with 18 points.
