Ruto Returns to Kenya Quietly After Japan Trip

President Ruto is back in the country after close to a week of working visit in Tokyo, Japan.

He departed on August 18 to attend the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9).

The Head of State met with high-level representatives of renowned brands headquartered in Japan and finance corporations with whom he made agreements on investment benefits for Kenya.

On Friday, August 22, Ruto gave a keynote address at TICAD 9 plenary.

He called for more concerted efforts to grow the economies in Africa to reduce the poverty rates, create more jobs and enhance health and educational services.

It however emerged that Ruto flew back to Kenya from Japan quietly and went to his farm in Uasin Gishu.

The President was captured attending to his livestock.
