Former Garissa North Member of Parliament (MP), Abdikadir Hassan Yussuf, has died.
In a statement, Fafi MP Abdikarim Osman announced that the Yussuf passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025.
Reports indicate that the former MP passed away while in transit in Dubai on his way back to Kenya from Australia.
“Iam deeply saddened by the passing of former Garissa North MP Hon. Abdikadir Hassan Yussuf, alias Tallie, who passed away earlier today. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time, and I pray that Allah grants them strength and patience to bear this” Osman stated.
The cause of death is yet to be revealed.
