Kenyan comedian Erick Omondi has been allegedly arrested.
The comedian was set to boarder a flight to Dar es salaam at Jomo Kenyatta Interational airport (JKIA) where he among others were launching the Inaugural Dar es Salaam flight.

I have been arrested at JKIA just before I bordered a flight to Dar es Salaam. As a brand ambassador to Skyward we were launching the INAUGURAL Dar Es Salaam flight. Upon handing over my passport, the immigration officers informed me that there is a stop order and that I cannot travel, and I have been detained.
Erick Omondi wrote on his Instagram post as he posted a video of him at some part of the airport dressed as brand ambassador of skyward.
His reason for arrest has not yet been stated while some people think it’s because of a post that he made the day before that might have intimidated the government.
