Elon Musk has reacted to former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s comment criticising those who complained over President Trump’s decision to stop foreign aid.
In his tweet on Friday, Musk retweeted a viral video of Uhuru’s remarks with a three-word response.
“Good for him.”

Musk has been hugely involved in the reelection of Trump and has assumed a significant advisory role, focusing on enhancing government efficiency.
Recently Uhuru laughed off the crying from various people questioning what Kenya and other African countries will do without US aid.

The former president wondered why they were complaining, saying Trump has no reason to continue funding global programmes.
“Why are you crying? It’s not your government; it’s not your country. You don’t pay taxes in America. Whether we like it or not, funding for these (pandemics) has to come from ourselves because we have to begin to re-prioritise what is important for us as Africans on the continent.”
Uhuru’s comment came after Trump ordered a 90-day suspension of nearly all US foreign aid, excluding assistance to Israel and Egypt, pending a comprehensive review.
This abrupt halt has disrupted various international programmes resulting in a panic in the country, with the government forced to clarify programmes like the giving of ARVs.
