Businessman Elias Njeru has been released on cash bail.
The businessman was allegedly accused of stabbing his partner Florence Wanjiku A.K.A Shiku, who is also his business associate at Indigenous Land Properties Limited several times.
He had turned himself in on 25th November 2024 accompanied by his Lawyer Gakuhi Chege and Associate advocates.

The attack allegedly took place at the couple’s rental house in the Olive area of Nakuru according to the reports.
Investigations revealed that Shiku was left in serious condition and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital.
While speaking at the hospital, Shiku said that she had left with her partner, and they had a smooth conservation.
We did business related issues and other issues that were a bit personal. We came to an agreement and then I proceeded home. He followed me, and when I was at the gate, he came attacking me.
Shiku said as she was being interviewed while still at her hospital bed.
The mother of two added that she tried to run away but he hit his car from behind, switched off the vehicles, took the key then proceeded to hit her on the head using his hands to pull her outside.
He then began stabbing me. I tried to protect with my hands. I lost my fingers.
Shiku further said.

While at the court, Njeru pleaded not guilty to the claims.
He was released on cash bail of Ksh. 200,00 and his case will be heard on December 9th 2024.
