Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has asserted his devotion to President William Ruto.
This he revealed when he met delegates from Tharaka Nithi County in Nairobi.
The deputy President vowed never to oppose President Ruto claiming that those who are telling him to oppose the Head of State are wrong since the Head of State has done in two years what took Kibaki five years to do.
Those telling me to oppose President like other people are wrong. Maybe they are looking for wrong person, not me. The work of a leader is to guide the people not to listen and support them in saying it. Leadership is not about shouting but showing direction to the citizens and offering solutions.

What President William Samoei Ruto has done in two years, it took Kibaki five years. Ruto is on the right track to improving our economy.
Kindiki added.
He further said that he played some role in Kibaki Administration, Uhuru Administration and Ruto Administration.
According to the Deputy President, the first government to do a manifesto was the Kibaki Administration but it was never followed up for implementation and there was no tracking on progress, the same procedure went for Uhuru, yet they were both re-elected.
With this, the DP assured that Ruto’s administration will add value to the governance as they are tracking the 168 promises they made to Kenyans to see how many they can implement before the next elections.
