Sven suspects linked to the Mawego police station arson attack, were on Thursday, July 30, 2025 released on cash bail.
The suspects face three accounts, including terrorism charges.
The seven suspects identified as Kennedy Oluoch Oluoch, Nicholas Otieno, Tofiq Owiti Mohamed, Michael Omondi Opiyo, David Bill Clinton Otieno, Robert Ouko Abala, Samuel Ouma Odhiambo, and Erick Obunga Osumba were released on Ksh 50, 000 cash bail.
They all pleaded not guilty towards the charges.
However, the court has set a pre-trial for August 14.
