The nephew of Deputy Inspector General Gilbert Masengeli has been charged Ksh2 million in a fake police recruitment scam.
According to reports, the suspect had allegedly promised seven parents of unsuspecting job seekers positions within the National Police Service in exchange for money.
After being arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts, the suspect denied all the charges.
He denied all the charges and was released on Ksh 1 million bond.
The next court hearing is scheduled for December 16, 2025.
