Citizen TV journalist Mwanahamisi Hamadi has been honoured as a Shujaa during Mashujaa Day 2025.
The journalist is known for hosting hosting TV show ‘Mwanamke Bomba’, which showcases women breaking the glass ceiling and their accomplishments in society.
Mwanahamisi has been a champion of women’s rights and empowerment, for women who work hard but hardly get the recognition they deserve.
I have been a journalist for over 20 years and have covered many programs, but I decided to major in women and give them a voice. I saw that the world, specifically our country, has decided to crown me,” she stated.
