Renowned sports journalist Carol Radull has made a comeback to radio after a two-year hiatus.
Spice FM announced on their X account that Radull was set to host the Playground Show with her famous co-presenters Kieni Githinji and Roy Karuhize.
The crew gained fame while at Classic 105.

“The biggest sports show in Kenya is here with Carol Radull, Kieni Githinji, and Roy Karuhize.’’
Carol Radull’s last radio job was at Radio Africa, where she had worked for two decades, rising through the ranks from a news reporter to a senior management position. Radull gained popularity as a host on the Score Kenya show, where she demonstrated her extensive sports knowledge and great ability to debate sports issues.
The sports journalist is said to have left Radio Africa in acrimonious circumstances after a change in the company’s employment policy led to her contract not being renewed. In her latter years at the company, Radull was switched to a managerial position that went against Radull’s passions.
“While I respect all the opportunities I got at Radio Africa, most of them management opportunities, I never believed I was designed to push papers and write reports. Being on the radio was and still is my first… no, second love after the theatre.’’
Radull also worked for the Nation Media Group as a sports presenter as well as a producer on the British Broadcasting Corporation (BCC). She has also worked as a producer at Reuters.
