Bottom-Placed Clubs Secure 3 Points in the FKF Premier League

A successful Saturday for the bottom-placed clubs saw Bidco United, Posta Rangers, and Nairobi City Stars secure important victories in their relegation battle, resulting in no changes to their positions aside from adjustments in points.

Bidco United needed just one goal, scored in the 24th minute, to claim maximum points away in Machakos. Newly signed Henry Onyango made a skillful reverse pass to set up Murunga, who fired a powerful shot that hit the crossbar and went in.

The goal ensured Bidco United triumph 0-1 against FC Talanta.

Posta Rangers came from behind to defeat Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) FC 2-1, thanks to a brace from Shami Mwinyi Kibwana. KCB took an early lead, with James Kinyanjui scoring the opener in the 9th minute. Shami Kibwana equalized before halftime, and in the 55th minute, he converted a penalty kick to give Posta Rangers the lead against his former club.

In another match, struggling Nairobi City Stars earned three points with a 1-0 victory against Ulinzi Stars. The sole goal came from young talent Kelvin Etemesi in the 4th minute, which they defended resolutely until the referee signaled the end of the match. This game also marked the debut of their new coach, Salim Babu, who celebrated a win on his first day back with the club.
