Third Way Alliance Party of Kenya leader Ekuru Aukot has claimed that he might support a planned demonstration set to take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
According to reports, a section of Kenyans are going to protest the increasing fuel price in the country.
In a post on his social media account on Friday, April 17, 2026, the party leader has seemingly mobilised the citizens to go to the streets due to what he has described as the unbearable prices of fuel among ordinary Kenyans.

Ekuru Aukot “supports” Tuesday demonstrations
“Wakenya wenzangu, hamjambo? Kama hatutakunywa mafuta kwa bei nafuu, wacha tukunywe tear gas ya bure hapo Jumanne, Aprili 21, 2026. “Ama vipi?”, he stated.
This comes amid police warnings on the upcoming protests which are scheduled to take place on April 21, 2026.
Speaking to the press on Friday, April 17, 2026, he noted that while the Constitution guarantees the right to peaceful assembly, any demonstrations must strictly adhere to the law.
According to the police, they had not received formal notification from the protest organisers about the demonstrations, a mandatory requirement before any peaceful gathering within the city.
