Kenyan socialite Amber Ray has explained why women are unsafe following the circulation of a viral video showing a woman in a vulnerable state while intoxicated.
Taking to her social media account on Monday, January 19, 2026, Amber called out the man who recorded the video.
“What I saw wasn’t just a video. It was a reminder of how unsafe the world still is for women. A woman in a vulnerable state is not a joke. She is not “content.” She is not a lesson to be learned the hard way,” Amber Ray wrote.
“When someone records a woman who cannot defend herself…when they touch her, expose her, laugh at her … that is not drunkenness at play,” Amber stated. Further adding, “That is character. That is entitlement. That is violence dressed up as entertainment”, she added.
