Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) was reportedly stabbed to death outside hospital.
According to reports, the officer identified as Denis Wesonga accompanied by a group of friends had gone to visit a female patient at a private hospital on Likoni, Mombasa County.
Moments after visiting the patient, a heated argument occurred between them which forced the security guards attached to the hospital to send the out.
However, the heated confrontation escalated and turned into a physical fight, and it was during the tussle that the soldier was stabbed.
The police report revealed that he was stabbed at the stomach but passed away while being rushed to the hospital.
Speaking with the press, the police noted that they had launched manhunt for the two suspects and also working towards unveiling the motive behind the attack.
More details will emerge as soon as the autopsy is conducted in the body of the deceased.
The body of the deceased was moved to Pandaya Mortuary awaiting autopsy and further investigations.
