Coming from an 11-goal win, Simba Queens found themselves on the wrong foot in the opening minutes of the match as they played Fountain Gate Princess in the Tanzania Women’s Premier League. The on-form forward Jentrix Shikangwa netted a hat-trick in a comeback that reclaimed Simba Queens the win.
Simba Queens came back from 2 goals down to win 4-2 against Fountain Gate Princess. The on-form Kenyan forward Jentrix Shikangwa, who had netted four goals in the previous match again netted a hat trick in the dramatic encounter to claim the match-day ball on a back to back.
Fountain kicked off the match strongly on the right foot with a display of its kind. Several quick attacks at the Queen’s goal was a clear indication that Fountain was in for business at home. They needed only 10 minutes to prove their point as they netted home the first goal. At another 10-minute interval they netted in the second goal to prove their worthiness.

Just after Fountain Gate scored their second goal, Simba Queens forward who is in fantastic form needed only 10 minutes to level the scores on a brace. Queens who sit on top of the table came back hunting leaving no minute of rest for their opponents until the half-time whistle saved Fountain Gate as the match went to break level at 2-2.
Five minutes into the second half, sensational Queens midfielder Vivian Corazone Awino scored a wonderful goal to take the Queens ahead of the match. Fountain Gate struggled to find an equalizer but their efforts were shuttered as Jentrix rose to action in the dying minutes as she tapped in to complete her hat-trick of the day.
Simba Queens Arch rivals on the other hand needed only the first half of the match to claim the game dead as they hosted Alliance Girls Academy. An early goal by Neema Kinega opened the scores as Jeannine Mukandayisenga netted in a brace. Alliance Girls resorted to defending to prevent more damage as the Princess decided to knock the ball around killing time. The second half saw less action as no further goals were scored.
