Kenya Police Edge Ulinzi Stars in Tense Forces Derby

Kenya Police FC secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Ulinzi Stars in the FKF Premier League forces derby played on Thursday, October 29, earning three important points in a closely contested encounter.

The decisive moment came in the 23rd minute when striker Elvis Rupia found the back of the net with a clinical finish to give Police the advantage.

Ulinzi Stars attempted to respond before the break but struggled to break down a disciplined Police defence, with the visitors going into half-time trailing by a single goal.

Ulinzi made changes at the start of the second half, introducing Adrian and Otunda in an effort to improve their attacking threat and get back into the contest.

Police also made tactical adjustments as the game progressed, with Eric Ngava Zakayo replacing Edward Omondi in the 62nd minute as the team sought to maintain its advantage.

The match was briefly interrupted after Brian Mzee suffered a head collision and was stretchered off the pitch.

Police eventually held on to their lead, with goalkeeper Job Ochieng dealing with Ulinzi’s attempts to equalise.

The victory gave Kenya Police bragging rights in the forces derby, while Ulinzi left Nakuru without a goal or a point.
