Paris Saint-Germain moved to the top of Ligue 1 on Monday, October 26, after securing a 2-0 victory over Olympique Lyonnais at the Parc des Princes.
Substitutes Senny Mayulu and Mika Godts scored in the second half to secure all three points for the Parisian club after a goalless opening period.
Mayulu broke the deadlock before Godts added the second goal to confirm the victory and lift PSG to 17 points from eight matches.
The result put PSG one point ahead of second-placed Rennes, while Lyon remained fifth on 14 points after missing the opportunity to move to the top of the standings.
The win strengthens PSG’s early-season title challenge and gives the reigning French heavyweights renewed momentum as the Ligue 1 campaign continues.
