Newcastle United earned a 2-0 away victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday, October 25, collecting three important points in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.
The result added to an eventful weekend of English football, with Liverpool also winning while Manchester United suffered a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth.
Newcastle’s victory kept them moving in the right direction in a competitive league campaign, while Crystal Palace were left to reflect on a home defeat.
The outcome formed part of Sunday’s five Premier League fixtures, which also included a 1-1 draw between Hull City and Brentford and a goalless match between Sunderland and Leeds United.
Newcastle will aim to carry the momentum from the away win into their upcoming league fixtures.
