Former President of Kenya, Daniel Moi’s grandson, Collins Kibet has been accused of neglecting two of his children.
Kibet failed to attend a court session on Thursday 22nd November 2024.
The legal team called of the meeting after three hours of waiting for his appearance to no avail defying a previous court order.

The disappearance came after he had met with his ex-wife Gladys Jeruto to resolve their ongoing despite out of court, but Kibet disappeared before the negotiations could take place.
According to Kibet’s lawyer, the two parties were scheduled to meet virtually at 2pm on Wednesday.
They set up the meeting at 2:30 pm and Kibet’s lawyer had informed him but efforts to reach out to him on that day via mobile phone were unsuccessful as his number was not going through.
His whereabouts were still unknown when the case was mentioned in court the following day.
Glady’s lawyer asked the court to reinstate an arrest warrant against Kibet for making his absence a deliberate plot to delay the case.
Kinet’s lawyer on the other hand pleaded with court claiming that something unforeseen could have happened to Kibet.
The case was therefore pushed to November 27th, but Nakuru Magistrate Kipkurui Kipkellion however warned that if Kibet failed to appear in person for the next court session, a warrant of arrest will be issued.
